Hiking and biking
More than 200 km of marked hiking trails and over 30 managed huts invite you to explore the alpine landscape between the Zahmer and Wilder Kaiser in the south and the Chiemgau Alps in the north. From the valley, you can reach many alpine huts with Tyrolean hospitality in just a good hour's hike. From leisurely walking tours to high alpine tours, everything is possible here! In addition, 180 km of cycling and mountain bike routes are a true paradise for all those who like to be active in the fresh air during their vacation - whether with pure muscle power or with an e-bike.
Water fun for young and old
Lake Walchsee offers excellent drinking water quality and, at 24 °C, is the warmest bathing lake in Tyrol - ideal conditions for water skiing, the trendy sport of stand-up paddling and even fishing. For children the 800m² Aqua-Funpark and the Iceberg are special highlights and in Kössen in the adventure swimming pool there are many water attractions to discover.
