Tip: The meeting points for the activity program have been chosen so that they are easily reached by public transport or on foot.

The Wilder Kaiser region and the famous TV series "Der Bergdoktor" simply belong together. Every year, filming takes place in the towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll filming takes place for the new seasons. Thereby the most beautiful sides of the region for the television broadcast. But it is not only digitally that all Bergdoktor fans get their money's worth. The film locations can be explored on film hikes, tractor rides and other opportunities. With the seven BergErlebnisWelten, exciting panoramic high-altitude trails and open summer lifts in each of the four Kaiser resorts, there's plenty of variety is provided. With the Wilder Kaiser always in view, you'll travel through the gentle mountain world to the coziest huts and the most beautiful 
vantage points. The Kaiserjet takes you easily and free of charge to all the mountain every half hour to all mountain railroads.

Tip: If you want to use several mountain railroads at the same time during your summer vacation, is best advised with the BergErlebnisCard. This combined mountain railroad card is available for 1 to 14 days and includes 15 lifts in the region and the nearby area.

The pleasure bike tours

More than 350 km of bike and mountain bike trails stretch through the mountain and valley landscape of the Wilder Kaiser region. Special highlights are the well-signposted pleasure tours such as the Pölvenradrunde, Kaiserradrunde, Sölllandlradrunde and Salvenradrunde. One thing is certain: Variety and breathtaking nature experiences are guaranteed in any case. 

Tip: The four vacation resorts are connected by a cycle path and the village centers are only a maximum of 10 km apart. Perfect to discover the discover the region by bike.

The Hintersteiner See Lake

Would you like to cool down and relax?

In addition to the mountain experience, the Wilder Kaiser region has another particularly refreshing summer highlight: the Hintersteiner Lake. The popular destination is fed by a mountain spring, has drinking water quality and  is one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Tyrol. In addition to a jump into the cool water, recreation seekers, hikers and cyclists will also find numerous resting places and paths through the nature.

Tip: The Hintersteiner See bus takes you at regular intervals up to the excursion destination - quickly and free of charge.
